This rail is specific to the 597 rifle. The cross slots run the length of the rail, giving the flexibility when mounting scope rings and accessories and are held to the 1913 Picatinny Rail Specifications and Tolerances. The rail is made from billet aluminum and comes finished in anodized matte black hard coat finish with the trademarked PTP Crosshairs logo engraving. Ships complete with (3) 6-48 Mounting Screws for easy attachment.
